100 Days To Retirement

Over the weekend I saw that Clickfunnels have started this new 100 day plan to retirement. It’s a clever way to get affiliates to promote their products.

You can check it out here.

Over the years there’ve been similar ‘challenges’ that have been used as a way to get people to promote, and I’ve never done a single one of them.

As I send a lot of traffic through my Clickfunnels acount, I thought I’d give the Clickfunnels one a go, and report back to you on how I’m doing and if I think it’s worth it.

It all comes down to how well they can convert people on their side.

When you register, they send you an email each day with some strategies to build your funnel, and if you have a Clickfunnels account, they even give you free funnels to use.

You can get a 14 day free trial of Clickfunnels here if you want one.

The first thing you get when joining the Affiliate Bootcamp, is a series of 27 emails to use in your autoresponder.

To be honest, this is what persuaded me to do it, generally I can’t be bothered to test these things if I have to write emails, as I have enough emails to write each day as it is.

That may be lazy, but it’s the truth!

Anyhoo… they’re going to tell you that you need to share their bootcamp four times to get these swipes, that didn’t happen for me, they just arrived via email without me doing anything.

So don’t worry about that.

The next stage is to re-write their emails.

But I’m also not going to do that.

Why?

Well two reasons:

1. I don’t have the time

2. I want to see how well their own copy performs

However, I would recommend that you re-write these emails into your own style, without a doubt the campaign will perform better if you do.

So here’s what I’m going to do…

* Upload the twenty seven emails to my autoresponder

* Start adding leads to it

Watch to see what kind of click-through rate, optin and sales rate I get compared to the cost of traffic I’m buying.

It’s that simple.

There are a couple of things I should point out that could affect my results for the worse!

1. I’m not re-writing their emails

2. I will be sending these leads my own emails at the same time, so they’re going to be getting a lot of emails

3. My focus is to build my list

Number three is an important one. My focus is to build my own list, what I’m doing is putting the Clickfunnels promotional email sequence in-front of some of the people joining my list, and seeing whether it converts.

If you are to actually build a funnel specifically for promoting Clickfunnels, then you can expect conversion to be significantly higher, and still build your list.

But I am building my brand at the moment, so I want people to get to know me 🙂

Basically… I’m doing it the quick and easy way. If I see that there’s some traction, I may consider doing it more in-depth.

But for now, let’s see what happens after the first few thousand leads have received the first few emails in the next week or so.

I’ll keep you posted 😉
