I’ve never seen a room so full of s**t

And I’m not being funny.

We came back from hospital on Friday, Max had his stitches out (yay), and walked into a house where our dog, BeeBee, had been ill. Very ill.

I can assure you that the last thing you want to walk into after a day at a hospital, is a house covered in dog poo.

Not fun.

A screaming baby (he was kinda hungry).

A very tired wife.

No food all day.

A house full of poo.

A very ill dog.

That is not a combination to ever be wished for.

I opened the veranda door and shut the living room down, in an attempt to remove the smell from the rest of the house.

Told Holly to go upstairs to feed Max.

Got an emergency appointment at the vet, and jumped in the car with the dog.

The good news… BeeBee was fine, she had picked up some stomach bug and is now looking much brighter.

The bad news… I had to clean everything up.

You will be pleased to hear that the smell has now, finally, gone. The sofas have been cleaned, and our living room is back to normal.

But it’s when things like this happen that you realise how good it is to have a business where you don’t have to work if you don’t want to.

Now that doesn’t mean you can’t work at all.

It just means that… you are in complete control of your life.

Which is what it’s all about.
