A few days ago at the Olympics in Rio, a French gymnast made a minor mistake, which resulted in a big accident.
He was doing some vaulting, that thing where they do clever s**t on an oblong padded structure standing on four legs, and coming off it he landed awkwardly.
So awkwardly that… he snapped his leg!
Literally.
Apparently, the audience heard the sound echo around the auditorium.
Just thinking about it makes me wince.
As you would expect, the medics rushed in, they strapped him up, and rushed him off. But, to make matters worse, the ambulance then dropped his stretcher, with him on it, while they were loading him into the ambulance.
And as if that wasn’t bad enough… the same thing happened to him four years ago, in the build up to the last Olympics!
However, on the way out of the auditorium, he got a standing ovation from the crowd. From his stretcher he raised his hand in thank-you, as if to signal that he’d be back.
Considering that it happened to him four years ago, and he came back, the chances are pretty high that he’ll come back again.
That’s dedication. That’s somebody who refuse to be beaten.
And that’s what you should be when you start your online business.
Because things will go wrong. Stuff will come in the way to trip you up. There will be moments where you’ll think it was a bad idea.
That happens to everybody.
And now I’m going to let you in on a little secret…
The folk who succeed. The guys and gals running successful online businesses right now. They’re the people who shrugged it off, picked themselves up and moved on.
They never moaned about it. They never said it was impossible. They just got on with it, and kept going.
The people you see moaning and blaming others in forums. They’re the ones that’ll never succeed.
You can’t blame others for your mistakes.
Did you buy a product that didn’t work for you?
Whatever happened, you’d have learnt something. You’d have learned not to trust that person again, that the method wasn’t for you, or you’ll have picked something out of it that you can use in a different way.
Ultimately, you’re the one who made the decision to buy it, you’re the one who put it into practice.
I’ve never used someone else’s strategy exactly as they’ve written it. Why? Because they don’t normally suit my working, or living, style. So I adapt them to suit my needs.
And the best method for making money online I’ve ever used… is the one written down here.
