This reminds me of the time…

I’ve just finished watching a wedding dance video that somebody sent me. It’s one of those ones where the groom and best men surprise the bride.

There used to be a ton of them a few years back, but they seem to have drifted off social media a bit.

Anyhoo… I was watching this video, and it made me smile. It made me remember my wedding day, when Holly and I did a big dance.

On our wedding day, our first dance involved about twenty people, and we did it to Benny Goodman’s Sing Sing Sing.

It was awesome.

And if you ask nicely, one day I may even show you the video 😉

As you might expect, that day was one of the best days of my life. And just thinking about it makes me happy.

But that was just one day.

What about the other 364 days of the year.

99% of the western world spend 364 days, well 351 days after holidays, doing something they hate. Something that doesn’t make them happy, something that they only do to ‘pay the bills’.

To me, that’s the definition of insanity.

Yes I get it. You have to support your family, and will do anything to do that. I would to.

But the vast majority of those people are never even trying to do something they enjoy, they’re just shrugging their shoulders as if that’s all life is gonna give them.

NO.

You should not just accept. Challenge everything, and always strive to achieve your dreams.

You’ll spend most of your life working. It doesn’t matter if you’re a tribesman whose work is hunting and gathering, or if you work in an office. You’re still spending the majority of your time working.

And that means… you have every right to be doing something that you enjoy and want to do.

If freedom is what you’re looking for, the time to spend doing what you want to do outside of work, then this is the quickest route.
