What Nobody Tells You About Email Marketing

I’m moving house at the moment. We’re currently staying with friends in London before moving out to the country.

Having always lived in a big city, I find the whole prospect vaguely terrifying, particularly the bit where we have to do maintenance on the house.

I mean, I’m used to a flat where the amount of maintenance is… zilch!

In the new house we’re going to have to maintain the roof, gutters, brickwork (it’s like 300 years old), trees (which are protected), driveway, garden and a whole bunch more.

To be honest, I’m starting to think that my entire life is going to be made up maintaining the house we live in.

But what the heck, it’s gonna be a damn nice place to live. Which is the most important thing 🙂

Maintenance is something that isn’t often talked about in email marketing.

Yeah I know people say you have to immediately remove bounces and unsubscribes. But the auto-responder does that for you.

What I’m talking about is proper maintenance. The kind of maintenance that keeps your list active and keeps you getting to peoples inbox. Not their promotion or junk folder.

How do you do that…

You’re gonna have to wait for my next email to find out 😉

Over and out.

Michael
