    Newbie Friendly, Simple and Credible

    “Hai Michael,

Am ever grateful to you for all the wonderful emails.

Please as a complete newbie to internet marketing, recommend simple and credible system

that I can begin to earn money online . I want streams of income, do you know am yet to make

my first $100 online?” – Paul

Well Paul, I absolutely can 🙂

But it comes with a proviso… you’re still going to have to do some work.

You see I’m always wary when someone emails me asking for a simple and credible system. It generally means that they’ve been lured in by a sales pages offering push-button money for zero investment and zero work.

The truth of those sales pages is… they’re an absolute crock of shite.

If you could make money with zero effort, risk or investment, then you sure as hell wouldn’t be telling other people how to do it.

Yeah, you’d probably be donating huge amounts to charity, but you wouldn’t be giving the golden goose away.

So, before I give you my thoughts on what can help you, there are a couple of things I need to clarify.

    The first…

You are going to have to work!

There is simply no substitute for taking action. You’ll need to make a decision and go for it, and then do it for a meaningful amount of time.

e.g. don’t write back to me in a few days and say you tried it for 48 hours and it didn’t work.

You have to be persistent and reliable, everything I share does work, you just have to put it into action and keep working at it.

    The second…

Don’t expect every ‘system’ to be perfect.

Here’s the thang, we’re all different. We all have different personalities. We all have different amounts of time available. We all have different skills.

That means when someone is showing you how to do things, don’t assume it’s going to work for you exactly the way they’re saying.

    Why?

Because the person who wrote it is different to you.

What you need to do is look at the principles they’re teaching, choose the ones that suit you best, and work damn hard on becoming successful at them.

That’s how to make someone else’s ‘system’ work for you.

However much they tell you it’s out of the box, you’ve got to use your own strengths and weaknesses to make it a success for you personally.

Heck, I’ve bought products for thousands of dollars before, and been happy with just one chapter from the whole thing.

    Why?

Because I know I can use that chapter to devastating affect. I don’t need anything else, I know what will work for me.

Now I’m not suggesting you go and buy a thousand dollar product and use one chapter. What I am saying, is that you must not assume that everything in the system will work for you. You should be looking for one method that works for you in terms of time, interest and ability.

Then you work hard at making money from that. When you’re making money from it, you can look for another one.

And the more times you do this, the more you’ll learn your own strengths and weaknesses, and the better you’ll become at assessing what’s going to be successful for you.

Oh yeah… and the more money you’ll make 😉

As for the systems, the two that I’m currently recommending for complete newbies are…

Both of these come with multiple ways to make money online, quickly, and with no costs. Go through all the approaches they have, and then choose one or two that suit you to implement.

And with that, I am going to be signing out for the day.

    Ciao

    Michael

Want to give me the goat? This will do it!

Recently there’s been a spate of people joining our private Facebook group, and posting up their affiliate link to some piece of c**p MLM marketing program.

Here’s the thing… the rules state I will block you from the group if you do that.

    Which has been happening.

In the last few days I must have deleted about 30 posts and members who’ve been promoting the same program.

And it’s beginning to p**s me off!

That’s on the back of people not really using the group to ask questions and get involved. It’s just me posting to myself.

So I’m pretty damn tempted just to shut it down.

TBH if you guys don’t want to use it to ask questions, then there’s no point in me keeping it.

The rest of this week is going to be the test, if I keep seeing spam comments come in, if nobody begins to use it as it’s supposed to be used (as in to give you a place to ask questions), then on Sunday I’m going to shut it down.

If you’re not a member of the group yet, then you can join here.

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/1676733229252397/

If there’s any other reason you think I should keep it open, then let me know by posting in the group. Otherwise, come Sunday, it will be gone.

    Michael

P.S. For those folk who are spamming the hell out of it, to learn how to really market, check this out…

P.P.S. You’re going to have put some effort in. Believe it or not, I’m not going to do all the work for you, pay you thousands a month, and only charge you $97 for it!

    P.P.P.S. Rant over 😉

  • The tupperware king of internet marketing

The tupperware king of internet marketing

Do you cook a lot of food, and then store it in tupperware boxes in the fridge, so you can eat it later?

Maybe you only do that with takeaways?

It’s the cheapest, most efficient way of eating, and I suck at it. I can’t help it, I just don’t like reheating food.

Heck, I even know that in the case of some food, like curries, it can taste better, because the spices have had time to marinate.

But I just can’t do it.

    With food.

When it comes to marketing, I’m all over reheating and reusing.

I’m like the tupperware king of internet marketing. Whenever I create a piece of content, I box it up and reuse it in as many places as possible. I bring it out frequently over the months and years, until there’s nothing left in it.

After all, creating content is one of the most time consuming and costly parts of internet marketing.

I promised earlier today I’d share how I get the content for my videos. And what I do is to reuse my previous content.

And you can do exactly the same using these 4 steps:

    1. Go to your blog and find the first post you ever wrote
    2. Read through it and write down the most important points
    3. Write a brief summary of why those points are important
    4. Film yourself talking about each of these points and why they’re important

    Seriously, it’s that darn simple.

It’s going to take you just ten or fifteen minutes to make your video and upload it.

And you don’t have to do one a day, put aside a few hours and make ten or twenty videos all in one go, and then schedule them for release.

Yup, you read it right. Just a morning of filming can give you enough video content for the entire month, maybe even two months!

So you’ve got no excuse not to be doing it.

    Michael

P.S. I’m so friggin excited about next month’s Business Ignition. It’s a special report which contains my piggy-back method for getting paid to build your mailing list. Almost nobody does it, and you need no special skills. It absolutely rocks.

If you want to get the step-by-step plan to making it work, you’ll need to be a Business Ignition member. And heres where you do that…

  • The Ultimate Tool for Making Pro Videos (cheaply)

The Ultimate Tool for Making Pro Videos (cheaply)

You’ve probably noticed that I haven’t released a new Marketing Nugget video for a little while. And that’s because with everything that’s been happening with the baby, I just haven’t had time.

But I’m planning to get back to filming next week.

I’ve seen products on creating videos that go into huge detail. I’ve worked on film sets, and seen first-hand how long it takes them to prepare a shot. I know enough about cameras to understand that different situations need different types of equipment.

However, I’ve also made enough videos and generated enough traffic and sales from them, to know that…

…you don’t need all that detail to make a good video online!

Hell, all you need is your phone.

The cameras in phones are now so good, that you can make an excellent video with them, if you have the right app.

    So here’s how I do it…

There are two primary styles of video for your marketing, the handheld, slightly less formal selfie style, and the perfectly framed formal approach.

Either can be done from a phone.

If you’re going for the less formal, selfie-style approach, like I do in my Marketing Nuggets, then you should get someone else to film for you. Yeah, you can do it on your own, but it never looks quite as good, because you can’t get the best angles.

If you prefer the more formal approach, then buy yourself a tripod. They’re just a few bucks off amazon and will mean that you can easily frame the picture and guarantee the phone won’t move. It may take a bit longer to get everything in the right position, but after a few goes, you’ll have it sorted.

Next, you need a good film app. The one I use is called Filmic Pro, and it’s by far the best app I’ve used to record film on my phone. It allows you to adjust the brightness, set the white levels, and do a bunch of stuff that you can do on ‘big’ cameras.

Once you’ve done recording your video, if you’ve got an iPhone, run it through an iMovie filter. Often this will give it the final effect needed to boost the quality.

I’m not sure if there is an Android equivalent to this or not, but I’d be surprised if there wasn’t one.

And then… upload the video to your blog, YouTube channel and anywhere else you want to put it 🙂

    Simple and effective.

But the hardest part, is getting the content to put in your video, and I’m going to share how to get that in this afternoons email 😉

  • Would you eat a curry pizza?

Would you eat a curry pizza?

Something that’s baffled me since moving out of London, is the restaurants.

I love a good restaurant, and when you combine that with not enjoying cooking, it’s very easy to slip into eating a lot of takeaways or meals out.

Unsurprisingly, there just aren’t as many restaurants where we are now. The choice is kinda limited and, something I’ll never get used to, a lot of them have stopped serving by 9pm. Which completely bamboozles me. I assume there’s just not enough business after that to make it worth their while staying open.

Anyhoo, that’s not what baffles me. What truly baffles me, is how the takeaway restaurants around here, serve everything.

    And I really mean everything.

    For example…

One of our local takeaways serves pizza, fried chicken, burgers, curry, kebabs and fish and chips.

    I mean WTF?!

The first thing I thought when I looked at their menu was… I’m sure as hell not buying something from somewhere that cooks so many different cuisines.

As it’s run by an Indian family, about four months after moving here, I did try a curry. And it wasn’t bad.

But I’m still very wary about trying any of their other dishes.

When I get a pizza, I want to get it from an Italian restaurant. When I get fried chicken, I want it from a fried chicken shop.

    Why?

Because I ‘perceive’ that a restaurant which specialises is going to be better than one that can do anything.

Is that actually the case? Probably not. But it’s certainly my perception as a buyer.

And this is why when you start an online business, you don’t want to offer everything. You don’t want to offer SEO, Paid Traffic, Email Marketing, Marketing Automation, Social Media, SEM, Content Marketing, Affiliate Marketing and every other form of marketing service.

What you’re doing is trying to appeal to everyone, and that’s always a bad idea.

By trying to appeal to everyone, you’re just marking yourself as somebody who’s an expert in nothing.

Look at me, my specialisms are email marketing, some forms of paid traffic and content marketing.

Can I do the other things. Yes I can. Am I any good at them. Yeah, I’m pretty good at most of them. But I’m amongst the best at the three areas I mentioned.

I can use those areas to generate six and seven figure businesses rapidly.

Which is why I focus on teaching others how to do the same.

So make sure that your brand is focused on being the expert in a particular area. Don’t try and appeal to everyone, if you do that, you’ll end up appealing to nobody.

    Michael

P.S. You still have time to get The Elite Five and be making $100+ per day by the end of the week.
